Personal:

Jeremy is the pastor of Maranatha Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN.  He has been the pastor there since early 2010.  Jeremy and his wife, Dana have two sons; Nathan and Jonathan. 

 

Education: 

Jeremy received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Bible with minors in both Business and Psychology from Tennessee Temple University, a Master of Ministry Degree from Temple Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master of Religious Education Degree from Temple Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry Degree in Theological Studies from Temple Baptist Seminary (only dissertation remaining). 

Ministry Experience:

Jeremy has a over five years of Senior Pastor experience and over twelve years of total ministry experience. Prior to becoming the Senior Pastor at Maranatha Baptist Church (March 2010), Jeremy was the Senior Pastor of a church plant in Ooltewah, TN from 2008-2010. He also served as the Youth and Public Relations Pastor at The Canton Baptist Temple in Canton, OH from 2004-2006.  Prior to his time in Ohio, Jeremy served as a youth minister at a church in East Ridge, TN from 1999-2002.  He was also the Director of Admissions at Tennessee Temple University from 2002-2004 & 2006-2007.

Additional Information:
  
  • Jeremy has taken mission trips to Salt Lake City, Utah (1997 & 2002), Costa Rica (1996 & 2011), The Philippines (2005) and the Dominican Republic (2012). He has a trip back to the D.R. scheuled for July and a trip to Poland scheduled in the Fall.
  • Jeremy is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
  • Jeremy serves on the board of Daystar Baptist Missions, Inc.

    Jeremy, I served on staff with one of Canton Baptist Temples former Music Pastors. Dr. Robert (Bob) Johnson. I am now serveing as Minister to Students at New Hope Baptist Church. Because of the Ministy of Bob Johnson, I have a better understanding of what it means to be on who love God with all your heart mind soul and streangth and how to love your neighbor as yourself.
